In the Community

This afternoon, I attended The Brewers' opening fixture of the season against Dearne & District. While the result did not go the way of the home side, it was nevertheless a fantastic opportunity to engage with supporters from both clubs, speak with staff, and maintain a visible policing presence at one of our busy community venues.

Neighbourhood policing is about being accessible, building relationships, and engaging with the communities we serve. Events such as local football fixtures provide an excellent opportunity for officers to meet residents, listen to concerns, and strengthen positive connections within the community.

I would like to thank everyone who took the time to stop and speak with us during the afternoon. We look forward to continuing our engagement work and attending future fixtures throughout the season.
